Let Kara bring you to the famous Wiggly Bridge & enjoy a walk through Steedman Woodsloop trail. (0.7 mile hike) The trail leads across a dam on the York River and leads across the Wiggly Bridge over to Steedman Woods. Great views of the York River, fishing boats in the harbor. Limit 9 guests. 10:30am-3:30pm: Strawbery Banke Museum & Shopping In Portsmouth
Let Kara drive to Strawbery Banke where it brings more than 350 years of history alive, from Indigenous history to the present day, in a historic waterfront neighborhood, then you will be able to enjoy sometime in downtown Portsmouth walking around. Limit 9 guests. Prices for Tickets are $24/per person. You must sign up via their website at https://www.strawberybanke.org/. You can sign up using the guest computer at the Front Desk if you would like. You will need to sign up in the Activities hallway for a spot on the van as space is limited to 9. Sign-ups MUST be completed by noon on Wednesday, 5/14, to give enough advance notice to the museum in order to reserve your spot(s). Due to the small booking window, reservations are non-refundable.

Join Wells in honoring all those who lost their lives in wars defending our country at the 2023 Memorial Day Parade. The Wells Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 29th, with a parade kick off at 9 am. The parade will march from Wells High School, down Sanford Road, to Ocean View Cemetery where a ceremony will take place. During the ceremony, we will honor the graves of brothers Elbridge and Leroy Hanson, Co. I, 3rd Battalion, 39th Regiment, 4th Division, KIA, Meuse-Argonne Offensive, France October 1918. Musical performances by Atlantic Harmonies will take place.
