WINTER FUN on Cape Cod

It's not all about skiing!

Wing Pond Woods

A hidden gem next to the Shining Sea Bikeway in North Falmouth. Wing pond feeds Herring Brook and flows to Old Silver Beach and Buzzards Bay. Wing Pond Woods is two miles of trails through the woods along the Wing Pond around a working cranberry bog. The trail starts at a parking area that is reachable from a dirt road off Route 28A or by the Shining Sea Bikeway. The trails are an easy walk with lots to see and discover, like, a herring run and the cranberry bog!

Sandwich Glass Museum

The Sandwich Glass Museum features a wide range of rare glass with hourly glass making presentations. You watch the glass blower turn and twist the hot glass into different shapes and forms to create beautiful pieces. You can feel the heat from the glass furnace on your face!

Falmouth Theatre Guild

The all-volunteer organization is a 58-year-old-non-profit community theater group. They produce four full-scale productions a year at the historic Highfield Theater in Falmouth. With about 500 members of all ages, the productions are family-friendly!

Bad Martha Farmer's Brewery

Enjoy craft beers with friends, family, or strangers! With a friendly, welcoming, and fun environment it’s a must visit!

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution

Dedicated to advancing knowledge of the ocean, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is a great place to gain more knowledge and a deeper appreciation of the wildlife that lives in the local waters. You can explore different exhibits that are dedicated to its visitors about everything that is beneath the ocean’s surface.

Plymouth Armstrong Arena

Go ice skating at the Plymouth Armstrong Arena. It's about 45-50 minutes from the InnSeason Resorts in Falmouth. Make a day of it and spend the day exploring Plymouth!

Spring

The snow is melting, the trees are blooming and the sun is shining. Spring is a great time to enjoy some peace and quiet on the beach. With the melting snow, it's a great time of year to find seashells and sea glass!

Summer

Your favorite attractions are open for the season! Spend your day walking on the beach, sitting by the ocean or pool or taking the kids to one of the many area attractions.

Fall

Enjoy the spectacular views that Cape Cod has to offer during foliage season. Take a drive on one of the many scenic routes and see the many colors of fall.
