10:00AM - UFO BUS TOUR: One of the most famous UFO abduction stories in history happened around the corner from Pollard Brook Resort. In 1961, Betty & Barney Hill claim to have been abducted by aliens and later returned to their car on the side of the road nearby. We will head out in the bus to re-trace their route on that fateful night. We'll make a few stops including a scenic view in Franconia Notch where they initially claim to make first contact, the official state historic marker that commemorates the spot they claim to have been abducted, a local mural of the alien (one of the best photo opportunities around!), and we'll also be able to shop for some commemorative merchandise from this incident. Agassiz is a former tourist attraction that went defunct in the 1960s, but still provides a stunning view of Franconia Notch as we get a peek into a golden age long past. The view is a completely different perspective of Franconia Notch than you have likely ever seen before. This guided hike is 1.5-miles (round-trip) on an old paved road; however, the road is not graded, climbs steadily uphill, and is very steep in places. A higher level of agility & stamina is required - you will work up a sweat. Limited space. $10 per person.

4:00PM - MATINEE MOVIE - HUNGER GAMES: THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS & SNAKES (free event): The new one! Rated PG-13

5:00-7:00PM - FOAM CANNON (free event): We'll have a foam cannon in the backyard! May be weather dependent.

5:00-8:00PM - CRYSTAL AND JEWELRY SHOWCASE: Come down to the Main Lobby and check out a fabulous selection of crystals, jewelry and rare stones. This collection is put out by a local business, Unicorn 49, and features local and internationally mined items. Prices range from just $1 to $500.

6:30-8:30PM - SUMMER BLOCK PARTY WITH LIVE BAND, CAMPFIRE, S'MORES, SNOW CONES, AND MORE: Join us in the backyard to celebrate summer with live music from the Velvet Hammer band. We'll also have a campfire with s'mores and homemade snow cones for sale (snow cones & s'mores will be available from 7:00-8:00). Located in the backyard by the fire pit. During inclement weather, this event may be moved into the Tours Room attached to the Main Lobby.

8:30PM - MOVIE NIGHT - THE FALL GUY (free event):  A stuntman (Ryan Gosling) working on his ex-girlfriend's (Emily Blunt) directorial debut action film finds himself involved in a conspiracy involving the lead actor. Rated PG-13. Located in the movie theater. Sign up in advance to guarantee your space.
