Along the way we'll learn about the rich history of the area; much of which revolves around the Old Man of the Mountain, as well as the famous Hollywood actress Bette Davis. Very little walking is necessary, but an adventuresome spirit may be required as we'll be on & off of the bus for photos. Limit of 12 participants - sign up in advance (minimum of 6 participants or this tour may be cancelled). Weather/road conditions permitting. Approx. 2-hour tour. $15 per person.
1:00PM - NH WILDLIFE PRESENTATION (free event): Join Real World NH for an educational video journey of New Hampshire's famous wildlife in their natural habitat. We'll learn about their behaviors and many of the common misconceptions surrounding these animals. 10:30AM - POLLYANNA TOUR/LITTLETON SHOPPING TRIP: Eleanor H. Porter (the author of the classic novel Pollyanna) was from Littleton, NH. The story was later turned into a Disney film in 1960's. The Pollyanna statue in Littleton is known as "New Hampshire's most welcoming attraction". It's the centerpiece of historic downtown as an ambassador of cheer and community spirit for residents and visitors alike. We will start by visiting the statue for pictures, followed by a visit to the Pollyanna Glad Shop, and then you'll have approx. 2-hours of free time to shop, eat, and poke around on Main Street. Outdoors walking required (be prepared to be exposed to the elements during bad weather). $10 per person. Return to resort at approx. 2:30pm.
