Windy Ridge is one of our favorite off-the-beaten-path destinations. You'll find pick your own apples, a gift shop, farm stand, and fresh breakfast and lunch options in the Cider House Cafe.

Polly's Pancake Parlor

A trip to the White Mountains is incomplete without a visit to this iconic NH institution. Afterwards, don't miss one of the best views in the state from nearby Sunset Hill Rd. and don't forget to stop at Harman's Cheese Shop.

Mt. Washington Cog Railway

Enjoy this scenic train ride to the summit of the tallest mountain in the Northeast.

Franconia Notch State Park

Franconia Notch boasts some of the most dramatic scenery on the East Coast. Don't miss views of four states and Canada from the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway. Other must-sees are the Flume Gorge, the Basin and the Old Man of the Mountain Historic Site.

Conway Scenic Railroad

Hop aboard and enjoy a throwback to the golden era of train travel. The Conway Scenic Railroad offers a number of scenic excursions on varied schedules.
