PLEASE NOTE: Most activities have limited space and require advanced reservations. Sign-ups open at the conclusion of the Monday Orientation at approximately 10:30AM (first-come, first-served). If you cannot be there in person, you may call us at 603-745-9900 and ask for the Activities Department (X-470 from in-room), or you may sign up in the Main Lobby any time after that. All activities start at designated times, so please arrive early. Schedule is subject to change, may be weather dependent, and may be cancelled for lack of participation or tardiness. The hike is generally considered easy/moderate with very little elevation change for the majority of the hike; however, a short but very steep descent/ascent is required to access the waterfall, so a higher level of agility and balance is required to complete the hike. This hike is not for young children or anyone with balance issues. The hike is approx. 1-mile (round-trip). Appropriate outerwear and footwear recommended. 10:00AM - UFO BUS TOUR: One of the most infamous UFO abduction stories in history happened around the corner from Pollard Brook Resort. In 1961, Betty & Barney Hill claim to have been abducted by aliens and can't explain a large chunk of "lost time". We will head out in the bus to re-trace their route on that fateful night. We'll make a few stops including a scenic view in Franconia Notch where they initially claim to make first contact, the official state historic marker that commemorates the spot they claim to have been abducted, a local mural of the alien (one of the best photo opportunities around!), and we'll also be able to shop for some commemorative merchandise from this incident. Agassiz is a former tourist attraction that went defunct in the 1960s, but still provides a stunning view of Franconia Notch as we get a peek into a golden age long past. The view is a completely different perspective of Franconia Notch than you have likely ever seen before. This guided hike is 1.5-miles (round-trip) on an old paved road; however, the road is not graded, climbs steadily uphill, and is very steep in places. A higher level of agility & stamina is required - you will work up a sweat. Appropriate outerwear recommended. Minimum of 4 participants required. $15 per person.

7:30PM - MOOSE/WILDLIFE BUS TOUR: Join us for an interpretive tour around the region in search of New Hampshire's famous wildlife! This time of year, black bear and moose are becoming more active. However, be forewarned that we may not see anything at all. That being said, your wildlife guide will speak extensively about the different animals and history of wildlife in New Hampshire. Tour lasts approx. 2.5-hours. Limited space. $15 per person.

10:00AM - UFO BUS TOUR: One of the most infamous UFO abduction stories in history happened around the corner from Pollard Brook Resort. In 1961, Betty & Barney Hill claim to have been abducted by aliens and can't explain a large chunk of "lost time". We will head out in the bus to re-trace their route on that fateful night. We'll make a few stops including a scenic view in Franconia Notch where they initially claim to make first contact, the official state historic marker that commemorates the spot they claim to have been abducted, a local mural of the alien (one of the best photo opportunities around!), and we'll also be able to shop for some commemorative merchandise from this incident. Approx. 1.5-hour tour. $10 per person.
12:30PM - MATINEE MOVIE - DOG MAN (free event): A dog and a human are fused into Dog Man, a police protector of the people. Rated PG.
1:00PM - HOMEMADE CANDLES: Create & customize your own scented soy candle in a mason jar. Located in the Fun Factory. $10 per craft.

3:30PM - MATINEE MOVIE - ALIEN ABDUCTION: BETTY & BARNEY HILL (free event): A Discovery Channel documentary about the Betty & Barney Hill alien abduction incident, which happened around the corner from Pollard Brook Resort in September of 1961. This film is not rated.
4:00PM - CRAFT HOUR: Choose from any of the crafts you may have missed during the week like yarn monsters, gumball machines, no-sew pillows, decorative photo frames, candles, wine glass candle holders, fun paint, and more. Prices range from $5-$10.
7:00-8:00PM - CAMPFIRE AND S'MORES: We'll have s'mores for sale by the campfire (located at the fire pit near the tennis courts). Weather dependent (we'll offer root beer floats or sundaes in the Main Lobby if it gets rained out).
7:30PM - MOVIE NIGHT - WICKED (free event): The untold story of Elphaba and Glinda, the witches of Oz. Rated PG.

2:00-3:00PM - TIE-DYE SHIRTS: Channel your inner Jerry Garcia and design your own tie-dye. Some shirt sizes may be limited (first-come, first-served). Located in the backyard by the basketball court (or under the carport outside the Main Lobby during inclement weather or threat thereof). $10 per shirt. You may show up anytime between 4:00-4:30pm.
4:00PM - MATINEE MOVIE - THE WILD ROBOT (free event): Roz, a free-spirited robot crash lands on an unpopulated planet. Rated PG.
5:00-8:00PM - SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM, SODA FLOATS, AND SNOW CONES: We have our own soft serve machine! Come to our ice cream window on the poolside deck outside of the Main Lobby (ask the Front Desk for directions if you can't find it). $5 per cone/cup, or $8 per sundae. Soda floats ($5) and handmade snow cones ($3) are also available.
8:00PM - MOVIE NIGHT - NIGHT OF ZOOPOCALYPSE (free event): When a mysterious meteor crash lands inside Colepepper Zoo something shocking is unleashed. A virus that turns animals into zombies is unleashed. Gracie, a young wolf, and Dan, a rugged mountain lion team up to find a cure to save the animals. Rated PG.
